Bridge work on the Grayson Springs Road (KY 1214) Western Kentucky Parkway overpass begins today.
“Overlay work starts Tuesday along KY 1214 over Western Kentucky Parkway, reducing the bridge to one lane with alternating one-way traffic,” Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesman Chris Jessie said
Additionally, Sulphur Wells Road will be closed at the Grayson Springs Road intersection, near the bridge.
People who live on Sulphur Wells Road will have to travel to Anneta Road (Hwy 259) to continue toward their destination. Signs have been placed alerting local traffic of the closure.
The project is expected to take approximately 30 days to complete, Jessie said.
