A Breckinridge County man has been killed in a motorcycle crash on Owensboro Road.
Tuesday afternoon at approximately 3:30, Grayson County Deputy Erik Franklin, the Leitchfield Fire Department and EMS responded to the single-vehicle wreck in the 5800 block of Owensboro Road.
Upon arriving at the scene, first responders found that a motorcycle, being driven by 66-year-old Dennis Murray, of Falls of Rough, for unknown reasons left the roadway and struck a tree. Murray was tossed from the motorcycle.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene by Grayson County Deputy Coroner Larry Holeman.
Grayson County Coroner Joe Brad Hudson, Holeman, the Grayson and Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Offices worked for two days to locate Murray’s next of kin before finding a brother who lives in Georgia.
