A man previously caught red-handed burglarizing a Leitchfield residence and granted a pre-trial diversion after a drug arrest is facing burglary and theft charges in Hart County.
The Hart County Sheriff’s Office said 26-year-old Glyndon Crane, formerly of Leitchfield, was charged with second-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking (over $1,000, less than $10,000, automobile) and public intoxication.
The sheriff’s office did not offer details as to how the charges originated.
In January 2023, Crane was arrested in Grayson County and charged with third-degree criminal trespassing and public intoxication.
Crane, in November 2022, was granted pre-trial diversion after being arrested for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) on October 16, 2022, according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections. He’s on probation until November 2025.
In December 2021, Crane was charged in Grayson County with his second DUI and possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified).
In April 2018, Crane and two other men were arrested after being caught burglarizing a South Clinton Street home. As a result, Crane was indicted by a Grayson County Grand Jury on a third-degree burglary charge in June 2018.
