One person has been killed in a fire in McCreary County.
The victim, a male, was found deceased after a fire struck a residence.
Kentucky State Police told media outlets that the body was burned beyond recognition. Authorities are using DNA to identify the decedent.
The body was transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office.
It’s unclear how the fire began.
Kentucky State Police detectives are leading the investigation.
