A Grayson County woman has been arrested on an indictment warrant accusing her of burglary and being a persistent felony offender.
Jessica N. Blair, 39, was taken into custody at the Grayson County Judicial Center by the head of security at the facility, Grayson County Sgt. Jason Luedke.
She was indicted by a Grayson County Grand Jury for first-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, persistent felony offender, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Upon arriving at the scene, Fentress observed Blair standing next to a vehicle.
While questioning Blair, she gave police “different stories as to why” she was on the property, according to the arrest citation. Blair then gave police consent to search her person and vehicle, with deputies locating jewelry that the homeowner said belonged to his mother.
During a check of the property, Fentress wrote in the citation that there were two doors that had been broken “to gain access” to the property, with one of the doors leading to the area where the jewelry was kept by the homeowner.
While continuing to search the property near where Blair was first seen, police found the homeowner’s handgun and another handgun, along with drug paraphernalia. Inside Blair’s SUV, police located “multiple items” that belonged to the homeowner.
In the back seat of the vehicle, police found pliers, bolt cutters, headlamps, and a hammer, the citation states.
Blair was charged with first-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia and lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
She was previously convicted in Grayson County for trafficking in marijuana (more than five pounds) and is on probation until January 2027, according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections.
