Feds indict Hardin Co. man for possession of destructive devices

A federal grand jury in Louisville has returned an indictment charging a Hardin County man with illegal possession of destructive devices.

According to the indictment, Frank Taylor, 61, of Cecilia, was charged with possessing four destructive devices not registered to him in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record, announced U.S. Attorney Michael A. Bennett of the Western District of Kentucky.

If found guilty, Taylor, already convicted felon, faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. There is no parole in the federal system.

This case is being investigated by the ATF Louisville Division Office with assistance from Kentucky State Police.

Taylor has previously been arrested on weapons and drug charges, according to online records.

He has been lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center since October 2022.
