Brian Ashley has announced his candidacy for the 5th District Magistrate seat.
Ashley filed a letter of intent with the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance on September 1.
Ashley said he is a carpenter by trade, and that he’s no stranger to hard work. Having worked beside his father, Minor Ashley, before starting his own business, he “understands what it takes to get a job done,” according to Ashley.
Ashley is now the owner/operator of Brian Ashley Framing, LLC, a business Ashley says he has run successfully for 22 years. He is also co-owner of Sunny Days Greenhouse in Anneta.
Ashley and his wife, Tammy, reside in Anneta with their daughter Jessica.
Ashley said he will “represent all communities fairly, and will bring new ideas to Fiscal Court.” He said he will be available “for all meetings, and he will be accessible to all the citizens I represent.”
