4 arrested in Hart Co. after multi-agency raid

Four suspects have been arrested after a multi-agency law enforcement raid in Hart County.

On Monday afternoon, the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force, Hart County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police executed a search warrant in Canmer, according to Hart County Sheriff Jeff Wilson.

While not providing details on the search of the property, four people were arrested on drug and theft charges.

Those arrested were Mickey L. Sanders, 65, of Canmer, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; Teddy Horton Jr., 53, of Munfordville, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, his second such offense); Kimberly A. Rogers, 50, of Newport, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), receiving stolen property (more than $1,000, less than $10,000) and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Willard Y. Jeffries, 60, of Canmer, was charged with receiving stolen property (more than $1,000, less than $10,000) and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Sanders is being held in the Hart County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond. The other three suspects are being held on $5,000 cash bonds.
