A teenager and toddler have been killed in a UTV accident in eastern Kentucky.
Kentucky State Police is investigating the crash that occurred Saturday night at approximately 7:00 on Hwy 7 (Licking River Road) in Salyersville, according to a report by WKYT.com.
State police told the Lexington television station that a 2018 Polaris UTV left Hwy 7, traveled over an embankment and struck a tree.
Killed in the crash were 15-year-old Angelica Rife and three-year-old Branston Hill, according to WKYT.com. The 15-year-old driver was transported to a local hospital where the juvenile is listed in critical condition.
The accident is being investigated by Trooper Ryan Hale.
