A Beaver Dam woman is facing drug charges after deputies and task force members served a warrant at her residence.

Ohio County deputies and members of the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force arrived Wednesday at a residence on Silver Beach Road “in an attempt to locate a wanted individual,” according to the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office.

Upon arriving at the home, police made contact with 42-year-old Heidi Dame, who had multiple warrants for her arrest out of Ohio and Butler counties.

During the arrest, police said Dame was found to be in possession of “several grams of methamphetamine.”

In addition to the warrants, Dame was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center but is no longer listed as an inmate. She is also not being held in Butler County.
