Clarkson City Commissioners set the city’s 2017-2018 property tax rates at a meeting earlier this week.
The rates remain unchanged from last year:
The city’s real estate is 8.700 cents per $100 of assessed value, with the tangible personal property rate at 11.07 cents per $100 of assessed value.
The vehicle and watercraft rates are 10.00 cents per $100.
The city reports its 2017 property assessment of real estate was $27.5 million, while the tangible assessment was $6.8 million.
