Two women have died after a two-vehicle accident in LaRue County.

Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the crash at approximately 10:15 Sunday night in the 1900 block of Bardstown Road, about one mile east of Hodgenville.

Police said the preliminary investigation revealed that 32-year-old Robert Wilson, of Elizabethtown, was traveling south on Bardstown Road in a 2009 Chrysler 300 when, for unknown reasons, he crossed the center line and into the path of a 2008 Dodge Charger, being driven by 34-year-old Tessie McNear, of Hodgenville.

A passenger in Wilson’s vehicle, 34-year-old Victoria Sharp, of Lebanon, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the LaRue County Coroner’s Office. A passenger in McNear’s vehicle, 41-year-old Carla Parker, of Sonora, was transported to Baptist Health Hardin where she was later pronounced deceased.

Wilson and McNear were transported to University of Louisville Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A juvenile passenger of McNear’s vehicle was transported to Baptist health Hardin with non-life threatening injuries.

The Kentucky State Police investigation into the crash continues.
