Nationally known rap artist arrested on gun charge in Hardin Co.

A nationally known rap artist has been arrested in Hardin County on a gun charge.

Otis Williams Jr., 40, of Ellenwood, Georgia, who is known professionally as OJ Da Juiceman, was arrested on Tuesday by the Elizabethtown Police Department, according to media reports. He was charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The handgun charge is a class D felony.

He was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center but was released the same day after posting bond.
