A Hardin County man has died after being struck by a vehicle.
Ryan Braxton, 31, of Elizabethtown, was struck last Wednesday night at approximately 8:00 near the intersection of Ring Road and Tunnel Hill Road, not far from his home, according to a report by The News-Enterprise. He was on the side of the road when hit.
The Elizabethtown Police Department’s accident reconstruction team is leading the investigation and is awaiting toxicology results from the driver and Braxton.
Braxton’s family told the newspaper they believe he was walking home from work when he was struck.
No charges have been filed.
Braxton was a graduate of Central Hardin High School and Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.
