The Kentucky Attorney General’s Office is partnering with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies requesting the public’s help locating a missing Shelby County girl.
Serenity Ann McKinney, four-years-old, was last seen on December 24, 2020.
Her parents are refusing to cooperate with law enforcement, officials said. Police are unclear on her last known location, but it is believed Serenity was last seen in Shelby, Jefferson or Bullitt counties.
This week, officials said extended family members contacted law enforcement in Shelby County with concerns that Serenity is in danger.
Serenity has blond hair and blue eyes with a birthmark on her stomach.
The public is encouraged to contact the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office at 502-633-4324 or 502-633-2323 with information on Serenity’s whereabouts.
The Attorney General’s Special Victims Unit is working in partnership with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office, Kentucky State Police, and the United States Secret Service to investigate the case.
