Kentucky State Police is conducting a murder investigation after a man was found stabbed to death at a Russell County RV park.
State police said that on Friday afternoon at approximately 12:50, troopers were requested by the Russell Springs Police Department after a deceased male with multiple stab wounds was found outside a camper at the Eagle’s Nest RV Park in Russell Springs.
The victim was identified as 38-year-old Glenn Coffey, of Russell Springs. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Russell County Coroner’s Office.
Through an investigation, Kentucky State Police said detectives discovered that earlier in the day there had been an apparent dispute between Glenn Coffey and his spouse, 27-year-old Jordan Coffey, also of Russell Springs.
Police obtained a warrant for Jordan Coffey, who was later located and arrested in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was lodged in the Putnam County Jail as he awaits extradition to Kentucky.
The investigation is ongoing and being led by KSP Post 15 (Columbia) Det. Nick Davis.
