The Celician Bank is warning residents about a scam involving a mailer.
“If you receive a mailing claiming to be from The Cecilian Bank similar to the ones below please take note – throw it away, it is a SCAM,” the bank said in a statement.
Bank officials added that, “Not affiliated with or endorsed by a bank or lending institution” is printed on the bottom of the mailer.
Do not call the numbers listed on the mailer and do not mail back or share personal information such as one’s account number, PIN, social security number, or any other personal identifying information, officials said.
