Federal authorities are conducting new searches related to missing Bardstown woman Crystal Rogers.

“Based on information collected over the last year by the federal investigation into the disappearance of Rogers, FBI Louisville is now conducting several searches in the Woodlawn Springs subdivision,” the FBI said Tuesday.

Cadaver dogs, drones and ground scanners were being used in the search of three Woodlawn Springs properties, according to Supervisory Special Agent Tim Beam.

Police said Rogers’ boyfriend at the time, Brooks Houck, and the only suspect in the case, was building homes in the Woodlawn Springs subdivision when Rogers, 35, disappeared on July 3, 2015.

Her abandoned vehicle was found on the Bluegrass Parkway in Nelson County with her personal belongings inside.

In August of last year, more than 150 federal and state law enforcement officers searched nearly 10 locations in and around Bardstown, including Houck’s residence and motor vehicles.

The FBI has created a website, crystalrogerstaskforce.com, to serve as the official source of information from law enforcement. A $25,000 reward is being offered in the case.
