You can learn how to make a loom knitted hat for your family & friends in the Loom Knitted Hat Class that will be held at the Grayson County Extension Office at 64 Quarry Road in Leitchfield.
The class will be held on Saturday, October 30th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. You will start the hat in class and finish making it at home.
You must bring a Loom Knitting Kit, sold at Wal-Mart under the BOYE company name, which includes the following: loom, hook & needle.
You must also bring 2 skeins of yarn, (5 or 6 weight) and scissors to the class. There is no charge to attend, but advanced registration is required by calling the Extension Office at (270) 259-3492.
The class is brought to you by the Grayson County Extension Office and the Grayson County Extension Homemaker Association. Participants can keep their hat, gift it to someone else, or donate it to a child in need as part of the Project of Service: Focus on Children.
