An investigation into the whereabouts of a wanted man who absconded from parole has led to the arrest of three people on drug charges near Olaton.

According to the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received information on the whereabouts of 46-year-old Jeramy Wayne Fisher, of Owensboro, who had been on the run law enforcement for a lengthy period of time.

Fisher was convicted in 2017 and 2019 in Ohio County for trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine and is listed by the Kentucky Department of Corrections as having absconded from parole. He is on parole until April 2025.

After receiving information on Fisher’s whereabouts, deputies and Kentucky State Police conducted surveillance at a home in the 1400 block of Dan Station Road near Olaton. Fisher was observed outside the residence with officers converging on Fisher. He was taken into custody with police locating methamphetamine on his person.

Police also made contact with 53-year-old Phillip Goff and 27-year-old Sky Willis at the residence.

During a search of the home and property, police located methamphetamine, marijuana, digital scales, and meth pipes, police said.

All three suspects were charged with engaging in organized crime, trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Willis was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center, while Fisher and Goff were lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
