Police are looking for a vehicle that struck a man in Barren County and fled the scene.

Kentucky State Police said that Monday night at approximately 9:30, troopers responded to East Hiseville Main Street, about 10 miles northeast of Glasgow, after 26-year-old Allen Johnson, of Glasgow, was struck by an unknown vehicle.

State police said the preliminary investigation showed that Johnson was driving a Coleman 200CC minibike near the 3800 block of East Hiseville Main Street when Johnson swerved, causing him to fall from the minibike.

An unknown vehicle traveling behind the minibike struck Johnson and left the scene. A second vehicle, being driven by 60-year-old Terry Walls, of Liberty, was unable to stop and also struck Johnson, police said.

Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Barren County Coroner’s Office.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Kentucky State Police at 270-782-2010.
