A Grayson County woman arrested on two drug trafficking charges in October 2020 has been arrested again on a felony drug charge in eastern Kentucky.

According to the Greenup County Detention Center, 37-year-old Selena Adams, of Clarkson, was arrested early Sunday morning by the Flatwoods Police Department at a DUI traffic stop.

Adams was charged with multiple non-moving violations, as well as possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and DUI.

She is lodged in the Greenup County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

In October of last year, Adams and a man were arrested by the Leitchfield Police Department after being found passed out in a Jeep 4×4 at an apartment complex in the 500 block of Stone Street. During a search of the vehicle, officers located methamphetamine in Adams’ purse along with several pills.

She was charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine, drug unspecified) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the Kentucky Department of Corrections, Adams is on parole until June 2022 after being found guilty of false statement/misrepresentation to receive benefits, a class D felony.
