A Grayson County man has been arrested for the second time in two years on child pornography charges.
On Thursday, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested 38-year-old Clayton R. Griffith, of Leitchfield, after an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The investigation began, according to police, after Griffith was discovered sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.
State police executed a search warrant at Griffith’s Leitchfield home and seized equipment used to facilitate the crime.
Griffith has been charged with four counts of possession of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance and one count of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance.
He was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
In July 2019, Griffith was arrested by Kentucky State Police at his then-Clarkson residence and charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
That investigation began after police discovered Griffith was in possession of computer files containing images of child sexual exploitation.
