Marcia Caldwell Grant, age 68, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (May 8, 2021) at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She was born on January 12, 1953 in Lebanon, IN, the daughter of the late Wayne G. and Mary France Caldwell.
She was an apartment manager and former employee at Head Start who enjoyed making wreaths and other crafts, flower gardening, and participating in church functions. Marcia was a member of CASA, the Ladies Auxiliary, the VFW, American Legion Post #81 and the American Cancer Society. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her children, Keesha Noe (Chris Sharp) of Brazil, Indiana, J.D. Shoemaker (Michelle) and Jackie Fisher, all of Leitchfield, Jan Cain (Eugene) of Clarkson, KY, Mariet Dennison of Leitchfield, and Justin Call of Elizabethtown, KY; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren (with one on the way); and one brother, Ted Caldwell (Sallie) of Lebanon, IN. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Eli Shoemaker and a brother, John Wayne Caldwell.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, (May 13, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Pres. Curtis Nall will be officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
