Five Grayson County High School baseball players have been named to the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association (KHSBCA) Preseason All-State Watch list.
Seniors Dain Hawkins, Mason Miller, and Caden Woodcock are joined on the team by junior Chandler McCrady and sophomore Camden Brothers.
The watch list was voted on by the KHSBCA All-State voting committee.
At the end of the season, the list will be whittled down to the finalized All-State list with Kentucky’s Mr. Baseball being selected from that list. A player does not have to be on the list to make the official All-State team.
The Cougars open the 2021 regular season on Monday evening against Green County. It will be their first game played in 672 days after last season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
K105 Digital Productions will broadcast eight baseball games this season with the first coming on April 12th against Meade County.
