
A felon who is known to frequent Grayson County and was wanted by the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office has been captured.
Cody Lloyd, 30, of Fordsville, was wanted for fleeing or evading police on March 2, and was additionally wanted for reckless driving and speeding 26 mph or more over the limit among other charges. He was considered armed and dangerous.
Lloyd was arrested on Tuesday by Kentucky State Police (per the Ohio County Detention Center), and is being held on a $7,500 cash bond.
Lloyd was convicted for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) in Grayson County in December 2019, according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections. He is on probation until February 2023.
In September 2019, the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office arrested Lloyd after he was found slumped over the wheel of his vehicle at the Caneyville Valero in the middle of the night. In that case, he was charged with DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
