KSP Trooper from Glasgow arrested after firearm theft investigation

A Kentucky State Police Trooper from Glasgow has been arrested on multiple charges related to a stolen firearm.

Kentucky State Police said 28-year-old Ben Hubbard was arrested on Monday and charged with first-degree official misconduct, possession of a defaced firearm, receiving stolen property (firearm), and tampering with physical evidence.

Hubbard has resigned from KSP. He graduated from KSP’s training academy in October 2019. He was then assigned to KSP Post 3 in Bowling Green.

Hubbard is lodged in the Barren County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
