The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office has identified two suspects involved in a Sunday afternoon murder.

The homicide took place in a parking lot at the intersection of Hwy 490 and Hwy 1376, about 20 miles north of London (near East Bernstadt), Sunday afternoon at approximately 2:00, according to Laurel County Sheriff John Root.

The two suspects, 39-year-old Robert B. Gray, of Keavy, and 30-year-old Ashley B. Lewis, of East Bernstadt, are wanted for the murder of 32-year-old Jeremy Caldwell, of Manchester. Gray is wanted on a murder charge while Lewis is wanted for complicity to commit murder.

The suspects fled the area after the shooting in a silver Pontiac G6, Root said.

The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
