Three Grayson County High School senior football players have received offers to play college football.
On Tuesday, Mason Miller joined Caden Woodcock and Zack Bratcher as athletes to be offered by Campbellsville University.
Miller was the starting fullback and linebacker for the 5-3 Cougars. He rushed for 181 yards and 4 touchdowns while also adding 35 tackles on the defensive side of the ball.
Caden Woodcock spent most of the season as one of the top running backs yardage wise in the state. He finished with the 7th highest rushing yard total for a season in Cougar football history with 1,107 and became only the 12th player to become a part of the “1,000-yard club.” Woodcock’s 15 touchdowns placed him tied for 5th in the KHSAA’s Class 5A.
One of the key pegs of the Cougar defense over the past three years, Zack Bratcher also was offered by the Tigers. The linebacker led the team in tackles both his junior and senior seasons. During his career, he had six takeaways and a pick-six against Graves County in 2019. Bratcher has also been offered by Lindsay Wilson College.
Campbellsville is an NAIA football program and coached by Perry Thomas. In the most reason season, the Tigers finished with a 1-9, but are three years removed from a victory in the NCCAA Victory Bowl.
K105 will have more information on these three seniors as they make their final choices for where to attend school next year.
