Caneyville woman with long criminal history held on $100k bond after drug trafficking, 4th DUI arrest

A Caneyville woman with a long history of drug and other arrests, including three previous DUI arrests, is being held on a $100,000 cash bond after being arrested by Kentucky State Police.

Waynetta Machelle Jordan, 43, of Caneyville, was arrested by Kentucky State Police Trooper Jordan Matthews late Sunday morning as she drove drunk in Hart County.

Jordan, whose arrest record goes back to at least 2012, was charged with her fourth DUI, trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), being a persistent felony offender, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, driving on a DUI suspended license, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to wear a seat belt, and failure to produce an insurance card.

She is being held in the Hart County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond.

Since 2012, and according to online arrest records, Jordan has been arrested in Grayson, Hardin, and Hart counties on charges including manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, cocaine), DUI, public intoxication (excludes alcohol), and flagrant non-support.
