Late Friday night, the Warren County Sheriff's Sheriff’s saw a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed on Russellville Road.
Police attempted to execute a traffic stop when the driver, 21-year-old Lance Davis, of Alvaton, refused to stop. A pursuit began but was terminated for public safety reasons. Authorities, though, remained in the area.
A short time later, Davis was again seen traveling at a high rate of speed. Police again initiated a traffic stop but Davis again refused to stop. The pursuit continued until Davis stopped his vehicle at the 1100 block of Woodburn Allen Springs Road.
Davis was taken into custody and charged with five counts of wanton endangerment, fleeing or evading police and reckless driving.
He was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail on a $2,500 bond.
