Crews continue to search for two men who went missing on Friday while swimming in Lake Cumberland.
The two swimmers, both international students in their 20s, were swimming off a houseboat with two other people when it began to drift away. Two men were rescued by a boat, while the two missing men unsuccessfully attempted to catch and re-board the houseboat.
According to media reports, both men went under the water and never emerged. The incident occurred between the Jamestown Marina and Wolfe Creek Dam, in Russell County.
Multiple search and rescue teams are assisting in the search, including first responders from Russell, Wayne, Boone, Barren, and Pulaski counties.
