An Amber Alert has been issued for twin seven-year-old girls from Logan County.
Police are looking for Isabella and Audriana Blanchard. The childrens’ grandmother is their legal guardian, but on Friday, Neely Blanchard, the girls’ mother, arrived to visit the twins and left with the children to visit a friend in Dawson Springs (in Hopkins and Caldwell counties), and has failed to return with the children.
Neely Blanchard is traveling in a black 2014 Ford Escape with a Florida license plate, “ECLAUSE.” Neely Blanchard and the twins have not been seen or heard from since Monday.
Neely Blancharde has a history of mental illness, police said, and is a self-proclaimed sovereign citizen that is in possession of a handgun.
Audrianna is 4-foot and weighs about 75 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes. Isabella is 3-foot-8 and weighs about 60 pounds. Both children were last seen wearing pajamas, but they have likely changed clothes.
Neely Blanchard is 33-years-old, stands 5-foot-5 and weighs 140 pounds.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Audrianna, Isabella or Neely Blanchard is asked to call 911 immediately.
