The inmate who escaped from the Hart County Jail Tuesday afternoon has been captured.
Darron M. Wren, 30, of Cave City, was arrested by the Glasgow Police Department early Wednesday morning as he walked near West Cherry Street. He was charged with second-degree escape and re-lodged in the Hart County Jail.
Wren escaped Tuesday afternoon at about 2:30.
He was convicted in December 2019 on three counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and burglary, according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections. He’s been incarcerated since October 2019 and would have been eligible for parole in May.
