The Leitchfield-Grayson County Chamber of Commerce Membership and Meeting Dinner was held Thursday night Rough River Lodge.
The event, attended by nearly 300 people, was hosted by Chamber President Misty Thomas and Chamber Executive Director April Spalding, as the chamber honored several of its members with its yearly awards.
The following awards were presented at the event:
- Past President Award — Steven Smith (The Cecilian Bank)
- Ambassador Award – Joyce Mudd (Community activist)
- Spark Plug Award – Veteran’s Resource Group (accepted by the group’s vice president Jeff Arnoldy)
- Small Business Award – T&T Construction (Tommy and Tina Higdon)
- Education Award – Kristy Hodges (GC Schools Food Service Director)
- Medical Award – Jessica Embry (Medical Stabilization Program Director at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center)
- Agriculture Award – University of Kentucky Agriculture Extension Office (Whitney Carman, Kendra Jones, Natalie Taul, and Robin Felix)
- Twin Lakes Award – Leitchfield First Baptist Church (accepted by Pastor Doug King)
- Grayson County School Board Chair Carolyn Thomason presented Spalding with a gift on behalf of the Chamber Ambassadors in recognition of her hard work and dedication.
