The Hardin County Detention Center inmate who walked away from a substance abuse center has turned himself in to authorities.
Thursday afternoon at 12:30, 22-year-old Jordan L. Geary, of Louisville, walked away from the center, located at 211 South Mulberry Street, in Elizabethown. State police said on Friday afternoon, and after speaking with family members, Geary turned himself in to Hardin County Jailer Joshua Lindblom.
Police said Geary was recently transferred to the Hardin County Detention Center from Jefferson County for a parole violation.
