Naked female, suspicious behavior at local drive-thru, leads to DUI, drug charges for pair of Leitchfield residents

Wednesday night at approximately 10:00, the Leitchfield Police Department and Grayson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity, includinga naked woman in a vehicle, at Taco Bell, at 802 South Main Street.

Upon arriving at the scene, LPD Officers Taylor Logsdon and Keith Harrell found that a vehicle containing two Leitchfield residents, 35-year-old Martin Logsdon and 35-year-old Jessica Geary, had gone through the Taco Bell drive-thru, with Logsdon behaving in a suspicious manner, and Geary laying naked on the floor board of the passenger vehicle.

After leaving the drive-thru, Logsdon drove into the parking lot of the combined Taco Bell/Marathon gas station, with officers soon arriving, including the sheriff’s office K-9, Marco, and his handler, Sgt. Fred Norder.

An investigation, including Marco alerting on the vehicle, revealed both suspects were under the influence, with police finding a prescription controlled substance on Geary, and marijuana on Logsdon, as well as drug paraphernalia.

Logsdon was arrested and charged with his second DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Geary was arrested and charged with having a prescription controlled substance not in its proper container, public intoxication (excluding alcohol), indecent exposure, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both suspects were lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.

Assisting at the scene were several officers including LPD Sgt. Robert Jackson, LPD Officers Joe Overton and Missy Skaggs, and Deputy Kelsey Overton, as well as others.
