A former LaRue County Detention Center deputy jailer has been indicted on multiple counts of rape and sodomy.
Jerome Perry, 42, of Radcliff, was previously indicted on four counts of rape and sodomy in LaRue County, and has again been indicted, this time for one count of third-degree sodomy. All of the victims were female inmates at the detention center.
The offenses occurred between July 18 and September 4 of this year.
The News-Enterprise reports that the Kentucky State Police investigation into Perry began after LaRue County Jailer Johnny Cottrill said that three female inmates reported being assaulted by Perry while he was employed at the detention center.
He is being held in the Hardin County Regional Jail on a $20,000 cash bond.
