The man multiple law enforcement agencies had been searching for after an attempted abduction in Bowling Green has been captured.
John McDaniel, 59, was caught Tuesday afternoon by Kentucky State Police. Authorities have been tight-lipped about this incident, but according to an unconfirmed report, McDaniel is from the Caneyville area.
According to a member of law enforcement, the FBI and Grayson County Sheriff’s Office searched for McDaniel on Friday in Grayson County before the search moved to Ohio County. The suspect was, at that time, being tracked by police through “pinging” his cell phone in an attempt to establish McDaniel’s movements, according to a member of law enforcement.
It’s unclear where McDaniel was captured, but he is being held in the Warren County Regional Jail.
