On Wednesday, the Hart County Sheriff’s Office and Munfordville Police Department responded to an abandoned vehicle on J.C. Jones Road, in Hardyville, which led the arrest of three suspects on drug trafficking charges.

While police did not elaborate on the details of the arrests, upon arriving on the scene of the abandoned vehicle, authorities arrested 36-year-old Brandon Wease, of Cave City, and 21-year-old Kalyn Huff, of Glasgow, and charged each with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Wease was also charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

The investigation then led authorities to arrest 24-year-old Matthew McMahan, of Hardyville, at a residence. He was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

All three suspects were lodged in the Hart County Jail on $100,000 bonds.
