The trial of an Elizabethtown man facing more than 80 child porn charges began this week in a Hardin County courtroom.
Shannon Ray Reeves, 49, was arrested last year as part of an undercover investigation by the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crimes Branch. He is facing 81 counts of possessing or viewing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, a class D felony.
A forensic examiner with KSP testified on Thursday about the images and videos collected from Reeves’ hard drive, images that showed young girls over a range of ages in different states of undress and performing sexual acts, according to a report by the News-Enterprise.
Reeves faces up to 405 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
