The Grayson County Farmer’s Market will begin selling on Saturday, June 2nd in Leitchfield. Local producers will be set up and ready on Wednesday’s & Saturday’s at Indian Hills Shopping Center Parking Lot on Mill Street (off Highway 62) – 6:30 a.m. – sell out (generally by noon).
Thursday’s – Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center Parking Lot on Wallace Avenue – 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
All growers at the Market are registered with the Kentucky Department of Agriculture and sell Kentucky Proud products. Each producer is trained in Good Agricultural Practices, and is trained in Produce Best Practices. Their farms have been inspected and they are producing their vegetables as natural as possible. Both Senior and WIC Vouchers will be accepted at the Grayson County Farmer’s Market.
The Farmer’s Market is an outlet for Kentucky agriculture, horticulture, and craft products, and is reserved for growers from Grayson County and six adjoining counties: Breckinridge, Hardin, Hart, Edmonson, Ohio, and Butler.
