Manhunt underway for Elizabethtown murder suspect after 20-year-old is shot and killed

The Elizabethtown Police Department is conducting a manhunt for a murder suspect after an Elizabethtown man was shot to death late Sunday night.

Sunday night at approximately 11:00, Elizabethtown police responded to a report of multiple shots fired in the 300 block of Diecks Drive. When police arrived on the scene, authorities discovered the victim, 20-year-old Xedric McNeil, of Elizabethtown, lying on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds. He later died of his injuries.

An investigation led police to issue an arrest warrant for 29-year-old Charles Roberson Jr., of Elizabethtown, on charges of murder and wanton endangerment in connection with McNeil’s death. Officials say his whereabouts are unknown, and he is considered armed and dangerous.
