A man has been arrested after being found naked in a 13-year-old girl’s bedroom in the middle of the night.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were dispatched Monday morning at 12:33 to a report of shots fired in the 700 block of Brittany Trail in Florence. The 911 caller told dispatch that he had found a man lying naked on his daughter’s bedroom floor.
The father told the suspect he was calling police, as he went to another part of the home to retrieve a firearm. The suspect then “pushed past” the father and ran out the front door of the residence, the sheriff’s office said.
The father fired three shots into the ground as the suspect ran away.
Upon police arriving at the scene, deputies discovered an unoccupied vehicle parked nearby. The father positively identified the suspect, according to the sheriff’s office, “after he was shown a driver’s license photograph which was attached to that vehicle’s registration.”
Deputies and the Florence Police Department “saturated the surrounding area” looking for the suspect, as a drone was also utilized.
Soon after, the drone located the suspect near Mt. Zion Road and I-75, resulting in his arrest.
The suspect, 20-year-old Parker D. Kramer, of Louisville, told police he drove from Louisville to meet the 13-year-old girl at her residence and “made admissions which led to” sex-related charges, the sheriff’s office stated.
Kramer was charged with second-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree rape and second-degree sodomy. He was lodged in the Boone County Detention Center on a $250,000 cash bond.
