The parents of seemingly healthy teenager who died on the family farm is awaiting cause of their son’s mysterious death.

Drew Inabnitt, 19, of Eubank, died on March 25 after passing through a gate on his family’s farm and falling, according to report by WYMT.com. He was pronounced deceased later that day.

Inabnitt was an athlete, as he played football at both Southwestern and Pulaski County High Schools. The love of his life, though, was farming.

“He was a hard worker and loved to farm, where he found his greatest joy on the back of his horse working cattle. He did what he loved and did it unapologetically with a smile on his face,” his obituary says.

Inabnitt’s parents told WKYT.com that their son was goal-oriented and had established a list of goals for 2025.

“I mean, planning a lot of stuff out already, for 2025,” Tyrel and Brooke Inabnitt said. “He had a list of goals that he was going to make for 2025. You just think, we just thought he was invincible. We really did. He was a tough, hard-nosed kid, played football. One of our friends, Wes Finley, said he was the sweetest meanest kid he knew.”

A cause of death has not yet been established, but Tyrel Inabnitt said he doesn’t think his son’s death was related to farming but that it was “medical in nature.”
