An apparent murder-suicide has claimed the lives of two Christian County men.
The Oak Grove Police Department was dispatched to Arkansas Avenue Sunday morning at approximately 2:00 after someone called dispatch and hung up, according to WSMV.com.
Where officers arrived at the residence, they found one man deceased as police attempted to negotiate with another man, who was suffering from gunshot wounds, and had barricaded himself in a room.
After an unsuccessful negotiation, police entered the home and discovered the man deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The investigation is ongoing.
