Receding floodwaters in Bullitt County revealed the body of a missing Lebanon Junction man.
The body of 50-year-old James Dishon Jr. was discovered Tuesday at noon near his residence on Lee Booth Road, which runs behind the Pilot Travel Center near the I-65 interchange.
He had last been seen on Saturday, according to WAVE.com.
Bullitt County Coroner Dave Billings told the Louisville television station that as floodwaters began receding, the top of Dishon’s truck became visible. His body was found in nearby trees, approximately 50 yards from his truck.
Dishon’s cause of death remains under investigation.
