Several people were rescued from floodwaters by the Falls of Rough Fire Department.
Falls firefighters responded Sunday morning at approximately 10:20 to the cabins at Green Farm (near the Green Farm Mansion), at 276 Falls of Rough Church Lane, after Rough River spilled out of its banks.
Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters found that nine people and two dogs were trapped in the cabins by floodwaters.
Falls of Rough fire personnel deployed a boat across the floodwaters and picked up the stranded vacationers and pulled the boat back across the water.
No injuries were reported.
