Kenneth Embry, 90, of Huff passed away March 26, 2025 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a self-employed cabinet maker, a member of Shopmens Iron Workers Union in Louisville and a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Ebbon Wayne Embry and Ernie Whobrey Embry. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Lee Embry; and two brothers, Steven Denzil Embry and Roger Embry.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cub Creek Cemetery. Visitation will take place 2:00-7:00 PM Saturday and after 10:00 AM Sunday.
Surviving are his wife, Joan Laverne Keith Embry; two daughters, Julie Embry Thurman of Louisville and Kathleen Embry Zawisa (David) of Smithfield; a son, David Embry (Melanie) of Louisville; a daughter-in-law, Marjorie Embry of Louisville; a sister, Wanda Smith of Louisville; a brother, Rayburn Embry (Deania) of New Haven; a sister-in-law, Myrna Nash Embry; many extended grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
