A Grayson County man has died in a two-vehicle accident on Grayson Springs Road.
The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, Clarkson Fire Department and EMS responded to the crash in the 4800 block of Grayson Springs Road on Monday afternoon at approximately 3:15. Soon after first responders arrived, Kentucky State Police and the Grayson County Coroner’s Office were summoned to the scene.
Perishing in the crash was 42-year-old Charles Edward “Eddie” Cann, of Clarkson, according to the Grayson Co. Coroner’s Office. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by Grayson Co. Coroner Kevin Pharis.
The Kentucky State Police and Grayson Co. Coroner’s Office investigation continues.
Grayson Springs Road from Peonia Road to Annie Boone Road was shut down until a few minutes after 8:00 p.m. Kentucky Transportation Cabinet personnel arrived and assisted with traffic control.
